I have claimed the month of June as my inspiration month. Every two days I will post a website of a photographer that I have found inspiring and influential to my own work.

Today will be Brian Skerry, underwater photographer extraordinare! His incredible eye and obvious passion for the world beneath the blue surface comes screaming through his images. He has been featured in Nat. Geo. numerous times as well as countless other magazines.

A section of his portfolio I found particularly intriguing was on global fisheries. I have seen a lot of his work in an issue of Nat. Geo. that was out just over a year ago on the tuna in the Mediterranean, but never knew he had worked on a much larger project on the fisheries.
