Honing Skills: Book Selection

Every couple of months I love to hone my skills a bit. I do this in many different ways. One way is by reading books or magazines from the pro’s, but of course the best way is a combination of research and simply doing.

And this month I have decided to get Scott Kelby’s book on “The 7-Point System for Adobe Photoshop CS3“. I have been hearing a lot about this book lately and just how much it can simplify or assist in your post-pro life. Another book is by Joe McNally, which was suggested on Photoshop User TV and is called “The Moment It Clicks: Photography secrets from one of the world’s top shooters“. It takes you into the mind of Joe McNally, he shares some of his best kept secrets with the world, very highly rated book.

If any of you are reading books that have pushed you to get better at photography, please do share them in the comments. It’s always great to expand your library of wisdom from the professionals.
